Tarka Balanced RCA Cables

The Tarka cable configuration originated as a solution for trans-impedance phono pre-amps such as the Sutherland Phono Loco and Little Loco. The barrel and pin carry their own signal on 22awg twisted pair conductors in an extremely low capacitance system. The double copper 100% shielding is grounded via the separate ground lug.  This configuration significantly reduces noise caused by electromagnetic interference. Although most equipment uses the RCA's outer barrel as ground many systems benefit from a separate ground that can be connected at either end.  Generally for phono purposes we connect at the pre-amp.  This is essentially a balanced RCA.  

We chose Mogami Neglex OFC cable made in Japan and Canare connectors.  Spade lug fits #10 screw or smaller. We can accommodate other connectors for an additional fee but find these to be a great balance. Made in the USA
